John Cox, CPM, CRP

John is the CEO of Westview Consulting Ltd., a firm that was started in 2005 to complete reserve fund studies and depreciation reports throughout Western Canada.

John has been in the Real Estate Management and related fields since 1982 and received the Following real estate designations through the Real Estate Institute of Canada:

  • Certified Property Manager (CPM®)

  • Certified Reserve Planner (CRP)

  • Certified Manager of Condominiums (CMOC)

John also holds the Chartered Mediator, C.MED and Chartered Arbitrator, C.ARB designations through the Mediation and Arbitration Institute of Canada.  

He has managed many types and sizes of residential housing projects, operated by both owner occupied and external Boards of Directors.

Chris Clavette, CRP

Chris is a Reserve Fund Planner with Westview Consulting and has been completing reserve fund studies and depreciation reports for the last six years. Chris has his Certified Reserve Planner designation through the Real Estate Institute of Canada and a Bachelor of Business Entrepreneurship Degree from Mount Royal University.

Chris values the importance of reserve fund studies and depreciation reports in order to help condominiums and companies plan successfully for a sound financial future. He enjoys working with Boards and Management to find the best possible strategy for each unique property.

Chris continues to stay educated in the field having taken inspection courses through SAIT and is also working towards his AACI designation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

Austin Poffenroth, P.Eng.

Austin is a Professional Engineer with an expertise in residential and commercial building systems design, audits, and inspections. After graduating from The University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Austin began his career in the construction industry as a mechanical building systems design engineer and project manager. He continues to apply his knowledge and understanding of building systems when preparing Reserve Fund Studies to ensure clients understand the value and condition of these crucial components in their buildings.

Austin is an active member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). He is also a member of his condo board and understands the importance of accurate and up-to-date Reserve Fund Studies.
